A CHART WITH JULIET. EPISODE 5: MY FIANCE IS LAZY AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO COOK, BUT SHE IS VERY GOOD IN BED. DO I GO AHEAD TO MARRY HER.

I had wanted to publish something else today on ‘EPISODE 5’ but not long ago this message was sent to me by a guy that says his name is Longrich  from Olokoro in Umuahia, Abia State,Nigeria. He narrated how the lady he planned to marry embarrassed him before his family, with her bad cooking and lazy attitudes and his family are against their marriage saying he will regret ever hooking up with the lady in question. Please do well to read his story and advice him appropriately.

HIS
STORY
.

Hello
ma,

I am
Longrich, from Olokoro Umuahia, Abia State. I am 32years old and my fiancé (name
withheld) is 26years. I met her while in the university and we started dating.
She is from Anambara State. I love her so much and I know she equally love me.
My greatest challenge is that. She does not know how to cook. Each time she
tries cooking, it comes out terribly bad. Not just that, she is lazy and hardly
do domestic work. Whenever she visits me she will be in bed for like most part
of the morning. I will be the one to clean up the house and prepare breakfast.
But I must tell you, she is very beautiful and good in bed.

I
was comfortable with her while we were dating, but now we are talking about
marriage, it is different.

Last
week I took her to see my uncle in the village. I lost both my parents to a ghastly
motor accident about ten years ago and it is this my uncle who is standing in
as my father. I didn’t tell you, I have 3younger ones, 2 boys and a girl. I am
the first child. We stayed like 2 days at home. Before we travelled, I pleaded
with her to behave herself at home so that my people will like and accept her.
But she did hid to my advice. The first morning which was a Saturday, she woke
up late. Then my uncle’s wife told her to prepare egusi soup. I was scared and
tried to discourage her from cooking because I know it will turn out a
disaster. But she says she can manage as her friend had even taught her how to
prepare a special kind of egusi soup. I relaxed but to my surprise, when launch
was served, what was presented before us was egusi covered with groundnut oil.
I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. No one ate that food. My uncle’s
wife had to prepare an emergency soup so that we all can it.

Though
no one said any bad thing to her, but it was obvious of what they think off
her. She cried her heart out that day and left before night fall in spite of my
dissuading her.

My people say I can’t marry such a girl who does not know how to prepare a simple meal. I love her so much. Please anti help me. She is the only woman I have dated in five years. She can’t cook yes but she has a good heart. Please I need your advice. Thanks.

MY THOUGHT.

In one of my earlier posts, i discourse the issue of courtship before marriage my view on this is essentially to enable about to be married couples to study each other and enable them make the right decision on their life partner. click on the link to read up.

I believe that Longrich has gotten enough facts about his fiance to enable him take a stand point. if he decides to go ahead with this marriage, he has a whole lot to condone or put up with. he should should not be under any delusion that she might change. But it does not rule out the possibility of her trying to improve anyways, That is if she eagerly desires a change.

So Longrich, my advice to you is, if you can put up with your ladies behaviour, then go ahead with the marriage, but if you can not, please don’t, to save possible break ups in future. I wish you all the best in life.
