WATER THERAPY: A KEY TO A HEALTHY LIVING.

Water is the most popular and cheapest drink ever and the regular intake of this colorless fluid is essential to healthy living. There are several reasons why we must make drink water regularly a habit.

Upon waking up in the morning, make it a habit of drinking at least two glasses of water. For those of us who tend to be weighty, studies have shown that drinking warm water with a tint of fresh lemon juice will go a long way in controlling your cholesterol level. Drinking water early in the morning before brushing your teeth, helps to set your body system ready for the day’s task. Your digestive system, circulatory system will greatly improve. Water helps in food absorption especially when it is taken 30minutes before your intake of food.

Please do not drink too much  water alongside your food intake or immediately after consumption of food as this interferes with digestion.

Drinking water helps in the creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients and also maintenance of body temperature.

I do have a good laugh when I hear people say that too much intake of water makes them to gain more weight. Let me shock you a little bit. Water as a matter of importance makes you lose weight.

You should take at least a gallon of water (4litres) every day to be able to meet your daily water requirement. Eating fruits and vegetables every day helps to supply your body with one-third of the fluid it needs. Fruits and vegetables like banana, water melon, apples, tomatoes, and more, will help a great deal. According to Dr Colbert M.D in his book ‘What You Don’t Know Might Be Killing You’, banana has over 70% of water. Apple 80%, tomatoes, and water melon 95% approximately.

If you are suffering from this under listed conditions, doctor Colbert advised that you take plenty of water to help improve your health.

  1. ARTHRITIS
  2. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
  3. HIETAL HERNIAS
  4. ULCERS
  5. ASTHMA
  6. ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE.

WATER, A SECRET TO ANTI AGING.

For those of you who want to look as young as you can possible be, this is a tip for you. Drinking the required dose of water every day will do the magic.  Water helps for a smooth and glowing skin.

Knowing the time and the quantity of water to drink is as important as drinking the water itself. Below is doctor Colbert’s recommendation and strict adherence to it will help a lot.

  • First thing upon waking up in the morning. Two glasses of clean water
  • Thirty minutes before breakfast, lunch or dinner.
  • Two and a half hours after breakfast, lunch or dinner.
  • A half hour before bedtime.(this may not apply for people from hiatal hernia, reflux disease, or an enlarged prostrate).

WATER A CURE FOR CHRONIC CONSTIPATION.

For so many years I suffered from chronic constipation. I went from one doctor to another but all the things I was advised to take only gave me temporary relief. I gave up hope until January 4th 2017 when a friend and business partner of my husband’s came visiting from South Africa. She introduced us to drinking of 4glasses hot water 30minutes before bedtime and immediately, upon waking up in the morning. Her reasons were that it will help dissolve most of the fats and oil we consumed during the day to enable easy transportation of nutrients in the body and also for free bowel movement.

4 glasses of water? I shouted, how on earth am I going do that? I asked.’ Well you have to try. It is for your own good’. She replied.

Well I gave it a shot, it was not really easy but I did it and Wow! it worked like magic.

When I drank the hot water, the first and second day nothing happened but on the third day, the wonders of taking hot water began to manifest. My digestive system readjusted and I began to pass stool regularly. Today my chronic constipation is a thing of history.

If you suffer from this condition, try this out and you will be the better for it.

IT REALLY WORKS. JUST GIVE IT A SHOT!

ALL THE BEST!
